Taking the low road...

I found it interesting that in this election, most if not all the people I talked would say something like, "I can't stand Gore so I am voting for Bush", or "I'm afraid of Bush, so I am voting for Gore". I did not here anyone say that they really liked either Bush or Gore.
On top of that when I would mention Ralph Nader, many would say, " I really like him, but he can't win" or "I would vote for him but that would help Bush". It seems to me that more often than not, America took the low road and voted their fears and not their hopes...
As for those Gore supporters, if Bush wins the Presidency, not to worry, you get Hillary in 2004 and that should make you happy.
