We are going to Italy on October 22nd through November 2 to visit Antonette's elatives in Cutro at the heel of the boot. On the way back, we will spend a few days in Rome. Following in the tradition of my brother, some of you may not know. John had a private audience withe Holy Father several years ago when Gestener presented the Vatican with a new copier. I donated wheelcharis to the Holy Father for the Vatican in 1993. If you see the Pope riding an electric cart since he broke his hip a couple years ago, that is he cart I donated. Over the years, I have free lanced for Cox Publications (Dayton Daiy, Atlantic Constitution etc.) and while we are in Rome I will be present for a press conference with he Pope on October 31 and a Mass on November 1st (All Saints Day) in the courtyard. An old classmate of mine from OSU sells baptismal gowns with the Vatican seal. The moral of the story is if you have a medal, gown etc. you want lessed by the Pope let me and send it to me before October 15h since I will some opportunity to have him bless it while I am there. By the way 2000 is a Jubliee year in Rome, so to my sisters Eddie gets indulgences - I need them Eddie
